Vocational Training Agreement

The system gives rise to professional qualifications listed in the national register of professional qualifications and recognised by the state. The professional qualification in the National Register of Professional Qualifications is assigned to the end-of-career examination organised at the vocational school on the basis of uniform standards. The form of training change between the business school and the vocational school depends on qualification, hours of practical training and the agreement between the vocational school and the company. Vocational education programs last for three years. An apprenticeship can be completed at the beginning of the first year. The apprenticeship contract can be concluded for the duration of the remaining training and terminated in cases provided for by the Vocational Training Act. Because learning is not a separate path, the overall governance system and regulatory framework are the same in every vocational training program, regardless of where the practical training takes place. The professional qualifications acquired are also the same and refer to levels 3 and 4 of the NQ in Hungary. By the end of fiscal year 2015, other organizations that are undergoing hands-on training on the basis of apprenticeship contracts could recoup grants on the basis of application under a grant procedure.
